Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation the Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.

Essential Job Duties

• The Occupational Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing patient treatment programs.
• Exhibits ability to design treatment programs for patients with varying degrees/types of disabilities and multiple medical problems.
• Develops innovative home programs individualized to meet the needs of the patient/family and instructs the patient and family in these programs.

Qualifications

• Education/Training/Experience: One (1) year experience as an occupational therapist in acute care facility preferred
• Completion of degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy required
• BLS (AHA) current certification required
