About the Position

Job Title: Level 3 RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3 nights per week Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Single State Oklahoma license or Compact nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS stroke certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of experience - Peds experience - AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS - NIHSS stroke certification Description: This position entails working in an ICU with a diverse patient population. The ICU cares for adults and children who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases. The staffing ratio in the ICU is 2:1. In the SDU, the staffing ratio is 3:1. An automated medication dispensing system is in use. Electronic medical records are managed through a specific EMR system. All RNs and LPNs are required to have NIHSS certification. A minimum of three years of nursing experience is needed for this role. Candidates must possess a valid RN license, either single state or compact. All nursing staff must wear masks at all times in the ICU. Scrub color required for this position is navy blue.
