The Inventory Management Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring smooth supply chain operations within a small team. This role involves overseeing stock replenishment, coordinating with vendors, analyzing inventory data, and supporting demand forecasting to optimize inventory control and reduce carrying costs.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control and stock levels to meet operational needs
- Coordinate stock replenishment and order processing with vendors
- Conduct regular inventory auditing to ensure accuracy
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare reports on inventory status and performance metrics
- Support demand forecasting to align inventory with projected needs
- Collaborate within a small team to streamline inventory management processes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) and ERP software
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
