As a Dietary Aide, you will enjoy working with our professional dining service team at Martha & Mary Health Services in Poulsbo. We offer on-the-job training to fulfill the duties outlined below and more. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is seeking a satisfying career in the dining services and healthcare industry. Dependability, efficiency, positive attitude and teamwork skills will help the right applicant be successful in this position.

Starting wage is $17.50/hr. up to $20.71/hr. depending on related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 12:30pm-9pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining kitchen work areas and keeping equipment, utensils and food plates clean and orderly.
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Washing food preparation work tables, walls, refrigerators, and refrigerated walk-in storage.
• Removing garbage from kitchen area and cleaning garbage containers
• Assisting in food/meal delivery and tray retrieval.
• Operating an industrial size dishwasher
• Preparing coffee and hot water
• Ensuring liquids are thickened appropriately when needed and served at proper temperatures.
• Preparing trays for residents and ensuring accuracy in terms of diet and thickness of liquid.
• Providing general stocking duties in service area.
• Breaking down stations at end of meal periods.
• Restocking beverage areas.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
