Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15). Every other weekend required with holiday requirements of 1 summer and 1 winter.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with telemetry monitoring experience to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced telemetry environment and must have strong critical thinking skills. Floating to other units may be required based on census and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and manage medical devices as required.
• Perform patient assessments and care management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current RN license valid in the state.
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
