Direct Hire We re looking for an experienced QA Manager | IoT, Cloud & Mobile Direct Hire We re looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team and define the testing strategy for a complex technology ecosystem spanning IoT devices, wireless connectivity, firmware, software, mobile applications, databases, and AWS cloud infrastructure . This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can build strong QA processes, lead both manual and automated testing, and ensure every product release meets high standards for quality, reliability, security, and performance . What You ll Do Lead and manage the QA team, including mentoring, training, performance management, and team development Develop and execute an end-to-end quality strategy across IoT hardware, wireless, firmware, software, mobile apps, databases, and AWS infrastructure Define and enforce QA standards, processes, test plans, and release criteria Lead both manual and automated testing strategies throughout the product lifecycle Monitor testing progress, defect trends, quality KPIs, and product performance Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues Oversee functional, integration, performance, load, security, and regression testing Ensure products meet defined quality requirements before customer release Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Customer Support to drive continuous improvement Evaluate and implement new QA tools, technologies, and methodologies Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company standards Provide bi-weekly quality and reliability KPI updates to senior management Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven QA culture Technical Experience We re looking for someone with strong experience testing complex, connected technology environments, including: AWS cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure IoT devices and wireless technologies Hardware and firmware Mobile applications Databases and infrastructure layers Automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Appium, or similar Testing and quality tools such as JIRA, Firebase, BrowserStack, AWS CloudWatch, or similar Performance, load, security, integration, and end-to-end testing What You Bring Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related field 5+ years of QA experience, including 3+ years in a QA leadership/management role Proven experience managing and developing QA teams Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and quality management practices Experience building and managing automated test suites and scripting Solid understanding of databases, infrastructure layers, mobile components, cloud environments, and connected devices Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Why This Role?
