. Fitness Instructor (Part-Time) - Kansas Overview Our client is seeking an energetic and motivated Part-Time Fitness Instructor to support participants in improving their health and fitness through personalized exercise guidance, group classes, and exceptional customer service. This role is based at the client's fitness center and offers flexible part-time hours, primarily on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday . The ideal candidate has experience in the fitness industry, holds required CPR/AED certifications, and is committed to helping individuals create lasting behavioral change. Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive, memorable experience for participants and client partners Perform basic fitness center administrative duties, including membership database reporting and equipment maintenance tracking Monitor the fitness floor and facility, conducting equipment checks and locker room rounds to ensure member safety Engage and assist members with their exercise programs Teach group fitness classes Motivate participants to increase physical activity and adopt long-term healthy habits Develop personalized exercise prescriptions based on fitness assessments and participant goals Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following: Personal Training Fitness Industry ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) Valid ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM-CPT) Schedule & Shift Details Part-time coverage: 10-20 hours per week Ideal schedule: Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 7:30 PM (flexible) Thursday: 12:00 PM - 7:30 PM (flexible) Friday: 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM (required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Purposelink Recruitment
