Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories in detail
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and lab results

• Provide essential intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-surgical care including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients and families

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgery focus is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
