Inventory Specialist

Location: Naperville, IL Schedule: Mon–Fri | Onsite Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00/hr, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses (prorated based on start date) Who We Are We are changing the norm by being customer-focused, technology-led. viaPhoton builds custom-engineered fiber optic solutions that power AI infrastructure, data centers, and 5G networks for some of the biggest names in tech. About the Role You'll keep our supply chain moving by managing inventory with precision and care. You'll track parts from arrival to shipment, catch discrepancies before they become problems, and make sure our teams have what they need when they need it. If you're organized, careful with detail, and take pride in accuracy, this is where you can make a real impact. Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations Identify discrepancies, misplaced items, and inventory concerns Process inbound material inspections and verify received goods Fulfill order picking requests from customer service and sales teams Process inventory reports, audit reports, and investigate over/short/trash requests Help improve inventory management processes and procedures What You'll Bring Have prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Are proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Have careful attention to detail and strong organizational habits Can work self-directed and follow procedures consistently Are familiar with ERP systems and general inventory management practices Follow safety policies and procedures closely Want to read the full job description?
