Salary: $85,000 + commission (1% construction contracts, 3% design contracts) Anticipated total: $120,000-$150,000

Summary of Responsibilities  

As Tectonic’s Sales Manager, you’ll turn great relationships into great projects. You’ll guide prospective clients through a thoughtful, high-touch sales experience, own the pipeline, and proactively create new opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships. This is a role for someone who doesn’t wait for great opportunities to show up—they go out and create them.  

Essential Functions  

• Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understand their goals, and identify the right-fit projects.
• Lead conversations around project vision, budget, scope, timing, and expectations.
• Guide clients through the sales process from first conversation through a smooth handoff to the project team.
• Own the sales pipeline, CRM, follow-up, and forecasting, keeping opportunities moving forward.
• Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, outreach, and strategic industry partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and production to strengthen lead quality and deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to high-quality work. 

 

Education, Experience, and Skills Required  

• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably within residential construction or design-build
• Strong knowledge of the residential construction and/or luxury home market 
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM 

Compensation  

• $85,000 + commission (1% construction contracts, 3% design contracts) 
• Remote/flexible working 
• PTO, 4 weeks per year
