Reach Machine OperatorThe objective of this position is to exceed the customer's expectation of service by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures. Assuring shipment of temperature controlled and undamaged product, proper count of goods at customer locations, assuring inventory levels are FIFO in the customer locations.Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm five days a week, with Wednesdays and Saturday as scheduled days offRate: $18.00 per hourRequired skills and abilities:Must have Stand Up Reach Machine experienceRequired to rotate stockFill pick slotsPut away all incoming frozen deliveriesFollows all safety requirements and policiesPhysical requirements:The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularlyThe ability to respond quickly to soundsThe ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spacesThe ability to see and respond to dangerous situationsMinimum Reach machine operator requirements:Must be 18yrs or over1 year Reach Truck experienceFamiliarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency.Must have Stand Up Reach Machine experienceMust be able to work in a freezer environmentReach Machine Operator demands:Safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment and radio frequency equipment.Ability to work in fast-paced environment.Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.Accountabilities:Promote safe work environment through personal actions.Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner.Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.Direct product to correct area in warehouse.Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
