ARMED SECURITY OFFICER - BRENTWOOD, TN Hourly Rate: Starting at $23.00 ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Security Officer at Signet Jewelers, you’ll play a critical role in protecting our people, property, and assets while creating a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors. LOCATION: 7100 Commerce Way Brentwood, TN 37027 WHAT YOU'LL DO: Safeguard the facility and distribution center by enforcing security procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Protect company assets through access control, screening of distribution areas, and inspection of outgoing materials, including mail and trash recovery. Conduct patrols, monitor activities, and respond promptly to incidents while maintaining detailed and accurate reports. Support investigations and asset recovery efforts in collaboration with the Security Leadership Team. Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing training in firearms, hazardous materials, public safety, and security operations. Build trust and rapport with employees and visitors by maintaining a professional and approachable presence. Perform other assignments and projects as directed by leadership. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: High school diploma or GED required; Criminal Justice degree preferred. Prior private security experience required; military or law enforcement background a plus. Valid 20-Hour Private Security Firearms Certificate (O.P.O.T.C.) or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and protecting others.
