Role Description The Clinical Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in San Bernardino, CA. This position involves providing individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are culturally responsive. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate and timely case documentation. The Clinical Counselor will provide case management support, coordinate care with schools and community partners, and participate in team meetings and case consultations. The role also includes engaging in outreach activities, contributing to program development, and pursuing ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality client care. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Counseling and Mental Health, with experience providing individual and family services in diverse communities. Knowledge of Psychology principles and evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to community and school-based settings. Experience in Family Therapy, including working with caregivers, youth, and multi-stress families to enhance resiliency. Proficiency in Case Management, including care coordination, referrals, and collaboration with schools and community agencies. Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; appropriate licensure or registration (e.g., AMFT, ASW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) preferred or in progress. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across cultures and age groups. Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based practices; bilingual skills are a plus.
