Location: Austin, TX Pay Range: $70/hr on W2 What's the Job? Lead the design and development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java-based applications within cloud-native environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, utilizing event-driven architectures and microservices. Implement and optimize AI-assisted development workflows, leveraging GenAI tools to enhance productivity and code quality. Drive modernization efforts by moving legacy systems toward distributed Java services and cloud-native platforms. Ensure application observability, resiliency, and operational readiness through best practices in testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting. What's Needed? 7+ years of professional experience developing scalable Java, cloud-based, and web services applications supporting high-volume transactions. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful services, and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or PCF, and deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in working with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and experience with system modernization initiatives.
