Overview Chantilly, Herndon, Reston, McLean, Bethesda Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, mission-critical impact environment. The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience, with some roles being more front or backend focused, depending on the customer’s requirements. The teams operate in a dynamic, multitasking environment that demands a keen understanding of large-scale database and application development, data modeling, and data mapping—particularly for systems that manage terabytes of data. This role is ideal for someone who excels in driving process improvements while ensuring the highest standards of data quality. Primary Responsibilities: Programming/development skills and experience with languages such as Java, Python, and TypeScript. Participate in software development to support innovative and enhanced software of customer applications. Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SOLR, Elasticsearch. Experience with service-based architectures and developing and consuming REST services. Familiarity with industry best practices for Agile software development, automated testing, and continuous integration. Collaborating with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new programming methods. Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience. Demonstrate professional experience in a technical field. Experience with full-stack development. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle. Desired Skills: Experience with cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform. Understand the role certificates play in securing an application, including establishing TLS, authenticating users, and protecting data. Familiar with Angular, Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI or additional frameworks. Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure). Clearance (Required):
