Warehouse Manager- Livermore, CA

This position is responsible for performing warehouse duties and directing the day‑to‑day activities of the warehouse. It is accountable for the warehouse’s inventory accuracy, organization, and control of incoming shipments, as well as the timely, properly documented execution of outgoing shipments, including RMAs. The role entails a service‑oriented approach, proactively supporting local and global project teams with all warehouse activities. It requires collaboration and communication with various departments and warehouses, and includes training others as needed. Location: Livermore, CA Responsibilities Set schedules, priorities, and work assignments; provide direction to warehouse clerks and temporary staff, and regularly lead a team on large projects as needed. Enforce and effectively communicate all company policies and procedures. Maintain a safe warehouse by driving safety compliance, safeguarding operations and contents through the establishment and monitoring of security procedures and protocols. Maintain an ongoing dialog with Project Managers/Coordinators to ensure work quality, performance, and response times meet required delivery schedules and expectations. Control inventory levels by conducting monthly physical counts and reconciling them with software system counts; submit a monthly report to the Inventory Control team, highlighting any exceptions and the methods used to resolve discrepancies. Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by implementing new design layouts approved by management, regularly inspecting facilities and equipment, and issuing requisitions for repair or replacement of substandard equipment (e.g., malfunctioning pallet jacks, loose shelving, trip hazards). Train and develop Warehouse Clerks to contribute to employee growth and knowledge; build and drive departmental teamwork and communication. Unload and receive deliveries: process receipt and, where appropriate, electronically log all incoming packages; qualify equipment/materials and store them according to warehouse layout and project specifications. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies utilizing RF/Scan Gun. Perform all computer functions required to track various aspects of goods. Ensure outbound shipping requests are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with project specifications, as well as company shipping and inventory control procedures; confirm all documentation and data entry are complete and accurate before releasing shipments. Work with Inventory Control, Project, and Purchasing teams to process RMA shipments efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and procedures are followed. Required Skills / Qualifications 3 years of relevant warehouse, operations, and inventory management experience. 2 years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience (preferred). Forklift certification and operation experience. Proficiency in D365 (Finance and Operations) and ConnectWise, with the ability to train others. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of US Postal, UPS, and FedEx regulations and processes. Experience with inventory control software. Space planning/forecasting experience. Preferred Skills / Qualifications Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
