Service Credit Union is seeking a full‑time, highly motivated and detail‑oriented Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a similar background who possesses strong organizational skills, takes initiative and ownership of tasks and responsibilities, and is ready to contribute on day one. The ideal candidate applies a structured, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving, is solution‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Pay range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, flexible depending on experience and qualifications. Junior level candidates typically start at the lower end of the range, with opportunities for growth as skills develop. Location: This position is an onsite position. Candidate must be located within 60 miles of the NH Seacoast area. Benefits Include: Great health and dental benefits starting day one PTO, long‑term disability, and paid holidays 401k with 8% company contribution after one year of employment Paid leave policy after 12 consecutive months of employment Free confidential mental health support program with Talkspace Free identity theft protection through IdentityForce Tuition reimbursement Training and career growth opportunities Key Responsibilities Monitor the health and performance of video surveillance and alarm systems Review and investigate after‑hours alarms or video system issues Process and review security incident reports, conducting follow‑up actions or investigations as required Manage, support, and troubleshoot access control systems Troubleshoot security system issues as they arise Coordinate with external vendors for security software support or equipment troubleshooting Perform branch visits and security reviews annually Conduct physical security training with employees Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures for employee change requests, issue tracking, compliance reviews, and related tasks Act as backup for Security Desk and Courier as required Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior experience in security systems, facilities support, or a related field preferred Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to competing priorities High level of attention to detail and accuracy Self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent work ethic with a proactive, results‑driven approach High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required Work Environment & Expectations Primarily a desk‑based position Regular travel required for facility visits Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast‑paced environment while remaining dependable and responsive to employee needs At Service Credit Union we celebrate our employees’ diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities, spiritual practices, abilities, and all the other traits that make us individuals.
