Ultrasound Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night 3x12-Hour shifts, specifically from 19:00 to 07:30, including weekend nights.

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician to cover STAT and ASAP orders throughout the hospital. This role primarily focuses on emergency and OB triage orders, with responsibilities for handling portable ultrasounds as necessary. Routine exams are appreciated when time allows but are not a primary expectation of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound procedures as directed by clinical staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely evaluation of STAT and ASAP orders.
• Collaborate with emergency and OB teams to facilitate patient care.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures in the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
• ARDMS AB or ARDMS OB/GYN certification is required (not both).
• BLS certification is also required.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory.
