Job Title

Job Summary: Under direct supervision, operates computer and peripheral equipment. Performs clerical and maintenance tasks in support of a mainframe computer complex or other large, centralized IT system. Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college OR High school diploma or GED AND 4 years of experience operating computer consoles and/or peripheral equipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for data entry support functions to include data entry, scanning, and document processing.

Process information by inputting, maintaining, and retrieving data using computer systems and ensuring that information is collated and stored in an accurate and efficient manner.

Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.

Responsible for transferring both words and numerical data into spreadsheets or databases.
