Leasing Specialist

Duties - Manage the entire leasing process, including conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and upselling available units to prospective tenants. - Prepare, review, and negotiate lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards such as landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. - Utilize property management software like Yardi or AppFolio to enter data accurately, track leasing activities, and generate reports. - Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property conditions meet tenant expectations and facilitate timely repairs or upgrades. - Maintain thorough records of all leasing activities, contracts, client communications, and legal documentation through organized filing systems. - Handle client inquiries via phone or email with professional etiquette while providing exceptional customer service. - Assist in budgeting efforts related to leasing operations and support team management initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency. Qualifications - Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with a strong understanding of lease or rental agreement management. - Familiarity with property management tools such as the MLS, Management Softwares, and Zipforms. - Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Office software like Microsoft Office. - Excellent conflict management skills combined with negotiation abilities to resolve tenant issues effectively. - Experience working within property management companies or facilities management environments is highly desirable. - Strong organizational skills for data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate leasing records. - Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting. - Demonstrated team management capabilities along with a proactive attitude toward upselling and client relationship building.
