Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant License
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the APTA code of ethics.
• Carry out treatment as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
• Modify treatment based on patient progress and inform the supervising therapist of changes.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure a clean and effective rehabilitation environment.
• Document patient progress in accordance with medical and facility documentation procedures.
• Provide individualized education to patients and caregivers.
