As the Travel Coordinator, you will join our dynamic travel team based in our Kearny Mesa (San Diego, CA) office, where you will play an important role in delivering responsive customer service, maintaining organized travel records, and helping ensure a seamless travel experience for our employees.

Serco supports various programs by serving as a key liaison between travelers, Program Managers, and the travel agency to ensure travel arrangements are planned efficiently, comply with company policies, and support program objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and Manage domestic and international travel thru a travel agency at the request of Program Managers.

• Assist with completion of International Travel Requests (ITR) using Serco intranet, OurWorld-NA.

• Relies on instruction, manager approvals and follows pre-established Serco and government guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

• Assist with the preparation of various account balances, analyzes invoices and reports.

• Support travel admin team with expensing and reconciling corporate credit card used for airfare, lodging, and rental cars.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• US Citizenship.

• High School diploma/GED equivalent.

• 1 year of Office accounting experience or similar/related experience.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritze travel bookings and expense reports.

• Experience with MS Office Suite as well as a demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel.

• Ability to quickly learn various software applications such as Concur, Sharepoint and Costpoint/Deltek to accomplish duties.

• Ability to be a team player and ability to work independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Experience with Concur.

• Experience with Sharepoint.

• Experience with Costpoint/Deltek.

• Accounting Experience.
