Laboratory Technician

Quality/Laboratory TechnicianWe have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about quality and taking it to the NEXT level. The Quality Technician will be responsible for supporting the production team with quality concerns.Responsibilities:Complete daily product testing.Review and disposition supplier defectsWork with Supplier for Return Material Authorizations and then enter credit memos as needed.Work with Corporate Supplier Quality and Purchasing to improve supplier performancePerform minor calibrations in house.Maintain calibration database, work with outside laboratories to complete calibration/certificationsIncoming inspection as required.Production part inspections as required (limited)Requirements:Technical or Associates Degree, preferredComputer experience, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and ExcelPrevious Laboratory or testing experience preferredStrong math skillsComfortable making decisions on product qualityComfortable providing feedback to suppliers and operations personnel.Key Competencies Behavioral Competencies Common to all Motus Positions:Integrity Iron clad.
