Sentinel - Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer / Senior Principal Systems Engineer . This candidate will join the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) team.
Demonstrate strong leadership and foundational systems engineering skills to drive rigor, traceability, and architectural context needed to craft an MSSOWT that is clear, verifiable, and aligned with the overall program objectives.
Demonstrate ability to foster diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching.
This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Senior Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04).
Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelors degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelors degree, 3 years of experience with Masters degree, 1 year with a PhD.
Senior Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelors degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 4 Years with PhD.
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Experience in System Engineering Principals (including acquisition and MBSE )
Proficient in using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point
Experience working with internal customers outside of your own group.
Familiarity with SDRL and DID structures
Experience with Agile
Experience working with external customers to meet program expectations in a timely and efficient manner
Experience with PrOP writing or governance
Direct involvement in drafting or reviewing statements of work, contracts, or procurement documents
