Make a meaningful impact supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students at two elementary schools and one preschool classroom in a vibrant community near Greenville, MI. This contract opportunity spans the 2026–2027 school year and offers the chance to work onsite with approximately 40 students, guiding their growth and supporting their success.

Key Qualifications:

• Approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Social Worker (required)
• Experience delivering school-based social work services, preferably in elementary and early childhood settings
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and outside agencies
• Understanding of child development, behavioral interventions, and crisis management
• Skilled at fostering inclusive, supportive environments for diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students across two elementary schools and a preschool classroom
• Conduct group and individual interventions to promote positive student engagement and mental health
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective student support plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 Plans
• Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Facilitate connections to community resources for students and their families as needed
