Job Developer

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Job Developer to bridge the gap between case management and successful job placement. This position works directly with job seekers to strengthen their employment skills while building relationships with local companies to create interview and hiring opportunities. NEW Full Time Location/Region: Saint Joseph, MO Key Responsibilities Work closely with case managers to understand each participant’s experience, skills, goals, and employment needs Help participants become job-ready through individualized coaching and support Teach resume writing, application completion, interviewing techniques, and professional workplace communication Conduct mock interviews and provide helpful feedback Assist participants with identifying suitable employment opportunities Contact local businesses to learn about their hiring needs and available positions Promote qualified participants to employers and work to secure interviews Help participants prepare for scheduled interviews and employer meetings Maintain relationships with local employers and community partners Follow up with participants and employers after interviews and job placements Track job-search activities, interviews, placements, and employment outcomes Maintain accurate and confidential documentation Expected Results Participants develop stronger resumes, interviewing skills, and job-search confidence Job seekers are matched with positions that align with their skills and career goals Participants receive consistent support throughout the employment process Strong relationships are developed with local businesses and hiring managers Qualified participants receive more interview and employment opportunities Job-placement and employment-retention goals are achieved Employer and participant follow-ups are completed and documented Employers view the organization as a trusted workforce and hiring resource Skills Required Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills Confidence speaking with business owners, managers, and hiring decision-makers Knowledge of resume writing, interviewing, job-search strategies, and workplace expectations Ability to motivate and encourage individuals facing employment barriers Strong sales, recruiting, business development, or employer-outreach abilities Excellent organization, documentation, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple participants, employers, and deadlines Professional, dependable, patient, and results-oriented Proficient with computers, email, data entry, and Microsoft Office programs Ability to work independently while collaborating with case managers and other team members Previous experience in workforce development, recruiting, staffing, career coaching, case management, human resources, or sales is preferred This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing people for success, developing community partnerships, and connecting qualified job seekers with employers who need dependable talent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
