Nurses Aide (NA), Oncology Unit Req #: 0000254424 Category: CNA / Nurse Aide Status: Full-Time Shift: Night Facility: Clara Maass Medical Center Department: Oncology Unit Pay Range: $20.89 - $26.20 per hour Location: 1 Clara Maass Drive, Belleville, NJ 07109 Job Overview Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Nurse Aide II performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related procedures in caring for the needs of the patients. He/She assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma BLS Certification through American Heart Association only. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and demonstrated writing skills. Proven track record of compassionate care & superior service and a commitment to providing healthcare excellence…always. Preferred: At least one (1) year experience as a phlebotomist or EKG Technician with health care background. Current enrollment in health care training program as C.N.A. or PCT preferred College degree preferred. Certifications and Licenses BLS certification through American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements Nights 11:00PM - 7:00AM Every other weekend, schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs Full-Time (37.5 hrs) Mandatory Orientation Essential Functions Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, B/P, height/weight and intake/output measurements accurately.
