Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Nights
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Graduate of accredited R.T. program
- Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
Work Experience:
- Required: Clinical Rotation with Radiology Program, will accept new graduates.
- Preferred: One to three years experience as a Rad Tech, with training in other modalities such as CAT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density.
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations:
- Required: ARRT Certification or Registry eligible.
- Registry should be completed within one year after date of hire, unless arrangements have been made with the Director for extenuating circumstances.
- Maintain CEU level adequately. Must remain current in registration and provide proof of good standing annually.
- Maintain CPR certification.
- Maintain other certifications based on modalities.
- NH State License for Medical Imaging-Radiologic Technologist (effective January 1, 2019).
- Preferred: Advanced level Certifications such as Mammography and CAT Scan if cross trained into those modalities.
Other Skills/Knowledge:
- Required: Knowledge of computer systems and applications related to Radiology. Must be able to use computer applications in daily work.

- Exposure to darkroom chemical odors some records are stored outside of main hospital building. Exposure to the elements in short walk outside to building where records are kept. Exposure to low level radiation (x-rays) which is monitored in accordance with the Radiation Protection program.
