Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking Non-Invasive Cardiologists to join our newly created multi-specialty cardiology clinic in Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will enjoy the benefits of being a hospital employee and part of a multispecialty group comprised of 300+ members including hospitalists and a wide range of specialists. We have a multidisciplinary team that encompasses Cardiac Surgery, Structural Cardiology, Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Advanced Imaging.

Responsibilities:

The role blends inpatient consults, outpatient clinic, echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and stress-testing.

• Read and interpret echocardiography and nuclear perfusion studies (board certification encouraged)
• Ability to read cardiac CT is encouraged.
• Perform TEE
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of heart and vascular problems.
• Supervise experienced APPs
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and administration.
• Highlights:
• Inpatient and outpatient EMR is EPIC
• Outpatient facility is connected to the hospital.
• Call is 1:6 weekends.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD., DO., MBBS Degree
• Current, unrestricted, Virginia State license or eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Experienced physicians and new graduates welcome to apply. This position cannot support J1 visas.
• Completion of a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology, from an ACGME approved program.
• Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology) Board-eligible/board-certified in Cardiology.
• Board certification in Echo and/or Nuclear is a plus.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required as well as the desire to be part of a team that functions at the highest level.
