Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Established Civil Litigation Firm Seeking an Associate Attorney in Harrisburg, PA!

An established Harrisburg firm that specializes in Defense Litigation is seeking an Attorney with 2-5+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role centers on civil litigation defense, representing clients across personal injury, premises liability, transportation and auto liability, and insurance defense matters through all phases of litigation while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Offer :
Salary range: $100,000-$150,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications :
Active bar admission in Pennsylvania is required
2-5+ years of personal injury, general civil litigation, or litigation defense experience is required
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required
Hands-on experience handling discovery, motions, depositions, and active case management is strongly preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential
Excellent communication and client-facing skills round out the ideal background

 

Responsibilities :
Handle all phases of civil litigation defense including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and pleadings on behalf of clients
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
Manage an active caseload spanning personal injury, premises liability, and related civil defense matters
Collaborate with senior litigators and partners on case strategy and trial preparation
Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering clear, strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process
