Job Summary:

Seeking a certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading hospital in Asheville, NC. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures within a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary supplies and equipment for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Assist surgeons during procedures such as arterial line, central line, and epidural placements.
• Perform large-bore IV starts, skin assessments, and maintain sterile techniques.
• Transport patients to and from the OR, assisting with induction, intubation, and positioning.
• Document procedures accurately in electronic health records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS certification.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with CVOR experience.
• Demonstrate excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant OR experience, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
