Phlebotomist

Location: Gallatin, TN. Work hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program Three months or more of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Benefits Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan Employees scheduled fewer than 20 hours, casual, interns, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO EEO Statement Labcorp is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
