Great Pay Excellent work environment with growth opportunities Immediate Hire The Bilingual Plant Manager leads all aspects of a high‑volume, multi‑shift food manufacturing facility in Costa Mesa. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while maintaining strong communication with a diverse workforce in both English and Spanish. The Plant Manager drives continuous improvement, implements Lean/JIT methodologies, and partners with cross‑functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Direct daily production activities across multiple shifts to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. Communicate clearly in English and Spanish to train, coach, and support supervisors and frontline staff. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, QRM, or TQM principles to reduce waste and improve throughput. Establish, track, and improve key performance indicators across production, quality, and safety. Ensure compliance with HACCP, sanitation standards, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with QA, HR, and Supply Chain to support shared goals. Identify operational challenges and implement creative, timely solutions. Lead large‑scale projects and manage fixed budgets effectively. Oversee labor planning for a 24/7 operation to ensure adequate coverage. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, or related field. 3–7 years of progressive leadership experience in large‑volume food or manufacturing operations. Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Experience with JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Strong background with food production equipment and maintenance teams. HACCP Certified with strong knowledge of food safety regulations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, delegate, and drive performance. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
