SRX Home Care, LLC, operating under the trusted name Happier At Home, provides exceptional in-home senior care services throughout Northeast Iowa and the surrounding areas. Our dedicated team of in-home caregivers focus on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering assistance in various daily tasks. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized care that includes light housekeeping and laundry, meal preparation, transportation for errands, and essential companionship that fosters mental stimulation. Furthermore, our caregivers support medication management and provide personal care services, ensuring that each client's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism. By being proudly connected to Scott Pharmacy, a local Independent Pharmacy in Fayette Iowa, we can guarantee knowledgeable support, allowing our caregivers to deliver high-quality care with the backing of a skilled pharmacy team. Responsibilities- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping in accordance with dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Help clients with medication reminders and personal healthcare routines as required.
- Provide transportation for errands, appointments, and social activities.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or ability to the care coordinator.
Requirements
- Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and their families.
- Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass a saliva drug test.
