About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Finance to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight across its various entities and service lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including financial reporting, budget development, variance analysis, and financial forecasting. This role requires a strong leader with a background in financial management, particularly in the healthcare, health insurance, or research industry. The AVP will work closely with the leadership teams to ensure the financial health of the organization, lead margin improvement initiatives, and support both clinical and research financial activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a preference for a CPA or Master's degree. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the accounting/finance field, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required. The role demands a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proven track record in financial management. The AVP will also be involved in capital planning, and financial analysis for new services, and will be the primary financial liaison for shared service departments. The position is pivotal in ensuring the organization's financial goals are met and that robust financial processes are in place to support its mission.
