EandM is searching for the right candidate to join our Inside Sales Team in Healdsburg, CA, in a hybrid remote-work environment!

What Does the Role of an Inside Sales Representative Look Like at EandM?

Every day is different, bringing new opportunities to showcase your customer service, problem-solving, and sales skills while helping customers find the right automation solutions and close orders.

This is not a traditional cold-calling or lead-generation role. Our Inside Sales Representatives work with existing and new customers, manage active opportunities, build relationships, uncover new business opportunities, prepare quotes, process orders, and help customers move their projects forward.

You Will:

• Be an integral part of a strong and passionate sales team.
• Assist customers via phone and email, preparing quotes and processing orders.
• Follow up on active projects, pursue opportunities, and build strong customer relationships.
• Win sales and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively reach out to customers to uncover new opportunities and grow existing relationships.
• Work closely with our Outside Sales Team and other internal departments to support our customers.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where priorities can change throughout the day.
• Work from both home and our Healdsburg office in a hybrid remote-work environment.

What Background Do You Need to Be Considered for Inside Sales at EandM?

Attention to detail, strong customer service instincts, a can-do attitude, and a desire to be part of a top-performing sales team are essential attributes for success.

Successful Inside Sales Representatives are:

• Dynamic, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers on the phone every day.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow through.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Problem solvers and articulate communicators.
• Always striving to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Experienced in sales or customer service. (Two years of sales experience preferred.)
• Knowledgeable about industrial automation hardware and software. (Preferred but not required.)
• Willing to learn. We will train the right candidate!

Some of the specific skills we require are:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to type at least 45 words per minute.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 DOE, base and commission
