Per Diem Certified Pharmacy Technician in Hephzibah, GA

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in the Hephzibah, GA area is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support their team in distributing medications and providing outstanding customer service. This role plays a vital part in ensuring patients receive the correct prescriptions promptly and understand their proper use.

Schedule/Hours:

Tuesday – Friday, September 1-4, 2026
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day (8.5 hours per day; total 34 hours)

Responsibilities:

Accurately distribute drugs as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare practitioners
Educate and provide detailed information to customers about medications and their administration
Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician License
Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is highly preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate dispensing and patient understanding
