This position offers part-time and full-time opportunities with a competitive salary of $21.33/hr. Additionally, discretionary performance bonuses are provided twice a year. Your responsibilities will include exemplifying Muckleshoot Casino Resort's values, demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism, and producing high-quality food products daily. You will be responsible for seasoning and cooking food according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. You will also regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and ensure proper presentation of food to provide maximum appeal and freshness. Additionally, you will maintain production knowledge and attention to detail with taste and quality, produce products in a cost-effective and hygienic manner, adhere to departmental uniform standards, follow food storage principles, and ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning. You will work within the sanitation standards and in compliance of Muckleshoot Casino Resort, local, state, and federal regulations, and guidelines, and create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license, a 2-year certificate from an accredited culinary program or minimum 2 years' experience in a similar food service facility, and a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handler permit. Knowledge of all applicable food sanitation regulations, health & safety standards, and safety regulations is required. You should also be skilled in handling kitchen utensils including but not limited to knives, have basic math skills, demonstrate ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions, read, write, and speak English fluently, multi-task in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, read and understand information and ideas presented in writing, follow procedures and take directions, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
