CT Technologist – Travel (Wesley Chapel, FL) TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Position Details Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience. Candidates must hold BLS and ARRT (CT) national certification, with registration in computed tomography and state‑specific licensing when required. Responsibilities As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records. You will also prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scanning. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Interpret doctors’ written instructions correctly. Appropriately position patients to scan specific body areas. Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images. Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues. Evaluate scans for technical quality. Follow safety procedures when working with radiation. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist. BLS and ARRT (CT) national certification. State‑specific licensing when required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
