Summary : Catholic Charities of Wichita is hiring Direct Support Professionals who want meaningful work supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and older adults in a warm, respectful Adult Day Services setting.

Daily Responsibilities
Support adults with daily activities, independence, and self‑advocacy
Help with personal care and hygiene respectfully and with dignity
Participate in activities, instruction, and engagement
Monitor and document basic health information (vitals, blood glucose as needed)
Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
Work as part of a caring, collaborative team

Skills and Abilities
Compassionate, dependable, and patient individuals
Comfortable working with adults with disabilities or aging adults
Able to perform moderately physical tasks
Willing to learn—we provide training
Experience in caregiving, healthcare, education, or customer service is helpful but not required.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
CNA or CMA preferred but not required
Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months (if hired as a driver)
