Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team in Garden City, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care and support to patients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed medical exercises
• Monitor and report changes in patients' health and behavior to nursing staff or supervisors
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
• Document care provided and communicate with healthcare professionals as required

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related healthcare field is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature
• Willingness to undergo necessary training and certification if required
