Position: W2 Software Engineer III (.Net, C#)Location: Birmingham, MA/ Atlanta, GA/ Charlotte, NCDuration: ContractJob ID: 178721Job Overview: The Software Engineer III oversees the development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This role is responsible for monitoring system applications, ensuring smooth operations, and creating reports and documentation to outline findings and solutions. This position is part of the Technology department.Responsibilities:Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.Install and configure systems and other software.Test installed software to detect malfunctions.Identify and resolve business systems issues.Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing application software and operating systems.Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.Monitor and test system performance.Maintain full ownership of assigned processes.Act as a procedural expert when required.Lead the work of junior-level associates as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Five (5) years of experience in a related role.Skills and Competencies:Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve common objectives.Proficiency in conducting system analysis to detect performance issues.Capability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong executional capabilities.Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware computing systems, and their integration.About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
