LOW VOLTAGE TECHNICIAN

Perform testing and certification of installed components Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown, and correct the problem Inspect material for quality before installation Install network cable, Fire Alarm cable, Access Control, and wireless projects Pulling and routing cable in a commercial environment Terminating Jacks Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A Perform daily tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policies Must adhere to all health, safety, and company policies Demonstrate thorough familiarity with current client, company, and OSHA safety Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain a positive and professional manner Responsible for all other duties as assigned Other job duties as assigned Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
