Senior Paid Media Strategist

We are seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to lead retail media strategy, optimization, and execution across key ecommerce platforms. This role will have a significant focus on the Amazon retail media ecosystem , making deep, hands on Amazon Ads experience essential. The ideal candidate understands how to turn retail media data into actionable insights, optimize investments against business goals, and partner effectively with agencies, Sales, Creative, and senior leadership. While this is primarily a permanent search, the team is also open to a Temp to Hire arrangement given the immediate business need. What You'll Do Own retail media strategy and optimization with a heavy emphasis on Amazon Ads Partner closely with the external media agency to drive strategy, execution, optimization, and accountability Analyze campaign and retail performance to uncover insights and recommend shifts in strategy Pull, analyze, and report on performance data across retail media platforms Monitor key metrics including ROAS, NTB%, TACOS, CVR , sales velocity, and overall retail growth Support budget planning, forecasting, and investment recommendations Partner with Sales, Creative, and other cross functional teams to develop assets and content designed to increase engagement, conversion, and sales Present performance insights, opportunities, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership Stay current on platform changes, competitive activity, and emerging trends across the CPG and retail media landscape Support measurement initiatives including incrementality testing, Mixed Media Models, and clean room environments What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience in retail media, paid media, or performance marketing within a CPG company or agency environment Deep, hands on experience managing Amazon Ads is required Proven ability to drive sales velocity, household penetration, and retail growth Strong understanding of retail media strategy, campaign execution, optimization, and measurement Experience with Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, and/or Instacart is highly preferred Strong knowledge of retail media performance metrics including ROAS, NTB%, TACOS, and CVR Exposure to Mixed Media Models, incrementality testing, and clean room environments Experience managing and holding external media agency partners accountable Ability to translate complex performance data into clear business insights and recommendations Strong understanding of CPG industry, platform, and competitive trends #J-18808-Ljbffr 24 Seven Talent
