Position Details Location: BSW Lakepointe Medical Center, 9400 Lakeview Pkwy, Suite 124, Rowlett, Texas 75088 Shift: Full‑time Outpatient Physical Therapist – Day Shift (8 hours daily) Experience: Experienced Preferred Must possess a current Physical Therapist license issued by the State of Texas. They also educate patients and plan discharges to maximize function. Essential Functions Of The Role Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients; modifies therapy programs and goals. Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner; enters charges accurately and understands reimbursement related to practice settings. Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team; provides education to patients, families, and staff. Supervises ancillary staff, students, and volunteers. Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence‑based practice. Dispenses knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues; adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines. Maintains awareness of system goals; aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals. Key Success Factors Must possess problem‑solving skills necessary to accomplish the job. Must have excellent communication skills; able to relate professionally and positively to patients, families, and facility staff. Exhibits exceptional face‑to‑face synergy and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team; assures excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers. Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard rehabilitation equipment. Displays high attention to detail in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Qualifications Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification. Experience: Less than 1 year of experience. Certification/License/Registration: Physical Therapist (PT) license by the State of Texas.
