Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

$2448.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care within the endoscopy and GI lab suite, supporting both pre-procedure and post-procedure processes, as well as intra-operative responsibilities for GI procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform all endoscopy-related tasks including preparation, intraoperative assistance, and post-procedure care.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and manage cardiac monitoring equipment throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist with complex procedures such as endoscopic ultrasounds and bronchoscopies when needed.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with safety protocols and ensure appropriate sedation and patient positioning.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in Epic system and coordinate care with medical team.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate extensive experience in endoscopy nursing.
  
  
• 
  Possess knowledge of vital signs, cardiac monitors, and equipment such as vents, Cpap, and BiPap.
  
  
• 
  Able to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with adherence to unit-specific orientation.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
