Job Overview Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They immerse themselves in significant connections with customers, and their ability to build new and deepen existing relationships is unmatched in the wireless industry. This learning role prepares associates for the next level as a Mobile Expert. Mandates mandatory completion of new employee training. Job Responsibilities Build proficiency related to serving and selling to customers, providing a world‑class experience and building loyalty. Help customers resume their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store. Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store. Side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, including accessories and cutting‑edge IoT devices. Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion. Use digital tools in interactions, including demonstrating coverage quality and T‑Mobile’s benefits. Complete mandatory training on the in‑store experience, new skills, processes, systems and reference resources. Make the most of time on shift, learning about wireless innovations and technology. Partner with other T‑Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues and create a seamless environment. Identify and hand‑off small‑business leads. Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment. Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED (required). At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (required). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun (required). Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (required). Willingness to learn and share ideas while serving customers and resolving issues (required). Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (required). Licenses and Certifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for training pay. After training, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status. All employees are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. All eligible employees receive an annual stock grant.
