The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering quality work while maintaining a safe and well-maintained environment for our residents. Experience with general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and basic carpentry. Strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues are essential.Excellent customer service and communication skills are important, as resident and team member interaction is important. The ability to prioritize work orders, respond to emergencies, and maintain organized records is key to success in this role.This Is More Than a Job — It's Your Opportunity to Make a DifferenceDuties and Responsibilities:Assist with apartment make-ready proceduresMake regular inspections of the grounds and buildingsMake repairs or replacements as necessary and with Supervisor approvalMaintain inventory of tools, equipment, and suppliesAvailable or on-call for after-hours emergencies when assignedQualifications:Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formPrevious experience in property maintenance preferredGeneral knowledge of painting and drywall patchingMinor appliance skillsGeneral knowledge about building equipmentAble to evaluate deficiencies such as excessive wear or troubleshoot faulty partsFamiliarity with plumbing repairs - change garbage disposals and replace faucetsHandle service calls in a timely mannerGood safety habitsOwn and maintain your own toolsMust have reliable transportationAble to speak to residents and maintain good working relations with other team members and any contract laborers working on the propertyWe're invested in you — because your well-being fuels your success.
