The opportunity As a Community Associate, you will work closely with new and existing customers across a myriad of industries. You create and maintain a community within your center, handling all administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their businesses. A typical day at IWG You arrive minutes before the center opens to ensure everything is ready and check for any cleaning oversights. Throughout the morning, customers come in requesting Wi‑Fi changes, package updates, room directions, projector setup, and coffee recommendations. You promptly address these requests, verify service charges, and keep invoices accurate. The mail arrives, you sort it, and then manage additional customer requests such as printing assistance and ticketing service requests for facility issues. Coffee breaks offer brief rest. In the early afternoon, you collaborate with the Community Manager to plan the week’s networking event. You create e‑invites, produce posters, and schedule dissemination across noticeboards. When a prospect visits, you share details about the community’s benefits and persuade them to join, ensuring they can attend the upcoming event. As the day ends, you help a large group finish their meeting, recommend a nearby restaurant, and ensure the center is tidy before heading home.
