Better Buzz Coffee Barista Position

Better Buzz Coffee is seeking baristas to help us in our brand new location which we expect will open in October of 2026. Training will be provided in a nearby location.

We seek those who are: gregarious, hospitable, accommodating, competitive, energetic, and available to work at least 28 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $15.15/hr. You will receive tips as soon as this location opens to the public.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Keep our spaces clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammates
• Produces proper drink and food items to standard recipe specifications
• Stock all necessary ingredients in accordance with each station's needs
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and areas

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays and able to work 22 hours each week
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
